Happy Valentine's Day!!

Brielle has occupational therapy through our school district’s “Early On” program.  She mainly focuses on things fine motor movements with her hands.  For example, stacking small objects, holding a utensil in her hand, cutting, finger painting, etc.  Our therapist always has such cute and fun ideas for Brielle to work on and it never seems like “work.”  That is the best therapy, right?

Well today we are getting ready for Valentine’s Day and she got to make a cute little valentine like the one in the picture below.

First she cut out the black strips with adaptive scissors, and then glued them on the pink background.

Next she dipped her finger in finger paint and then stamped it twice (making a heart shape) inside the squares.

Mommy was able to help and write the letters I and YOU in the squares to finish it off and make a super cute little Valentine’s Day card!
